The CNN Freedom project to end human trafficking is doing a new campaign to bring global awareness to this growing problem and to get people like you and me into the fight. This new project is called #FlyToFreedom and you can be a part! All you have to do is make a paper airplane, write on it what you will pledge to do to help combat modern-day slavery, post your message on Twitter with the hashtag #FlyToFreedom and then live your pledge. Many have pledged to donate money to organizations to combat slavery. Others have pledged to learn more about human trafficking, and how it has affected our world. I have made my pledge that you can watch here: #FlyToFreedom
So, what will you do? You can learn more about this growing on my blog here, as I research and publish new information on the fight of human trafficking around the world and ways we are helping to end it. You can also research information on the Internet from well-established charities and organizations across the globe. You can also donate to any of the charities below after learning about what they are doing in the fight. Maybe you have a more creative stance. Regardless, please make a pledge. Please share your pledges here as well, along with information that may be helpful to our readers. Because one person in a collection of many can make a difference. Together, we can help end child slavery.
